Export ControlPolicy.

Glide Manufacturing supports aerospace, defense, and government programs that carry export control obligations under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR, 22 CFR 120-130) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR, 15 CFR 730-774).

Export-controlled programs are quoted for US production only and are routed through ITAR-registered facilities in our US manufacturing network. Glide coordinates these programs; the ITAR-registered facilities in our network perform the controlled manufacturing.

This website is not a channel for controlled technical data. Do not upload or transmit ITAR-controlled or EAR-controlled technical data (drawings, CAD models, specifications, or related documentation) through the quote builder, the file transfer page, or email.

These limits are enforced, not just requested. The quote builder asks whether a program is export-controlled before any file can be attached; flagging a program as export-controlled disables uploads, and any file uploaded before the flag is set is deleted from our storage. The file transfer page requires the same confirmation before files can be sent.

Submit the quote without attaching files and describe the part in the project notes. Our team will contact you to coordinate an appropriate secure transfer method before any technical data changes hands.

Export-controlled inquiries are segregated in our intake process and handled separately from standard commercial requests.

Programs flagged as export-controlled, and any program a customer designates as domestic-only, are quoted and produced in the United States. Controlled technical data is not sent to, stored at, or made accessible from our overseas facilities.

You are responsible for identifying whether your technical data is subject to the ITAR or the EAR and for classifying it accurately when you interact with this site. If you are unsure whether your data is controlled, treat it as controlled and contact us before transmitting anything.

Submissions that include an uploaded file require a certification that the file contains no export-controlled technical data. That certification is recorded with your submission.
